Animal Keeper’s Rescue, Inc. is a privately owned non-profit, no-kill cat and kitten shelter originally based in the beautiful mountains of Acme, Pennsylvania. Our shelter, opened about 35 years ago, has since taken in, cared for, and found loving homes for over many cats and kittens. We now are foster-based for all of our intake requests and provide adoption services out of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Most of our furry sweethearts have been found abandoned, neglected, or unwanted. Our hearts and foster homes are devoted to giving them the tender-loving care that they deserve until they find a place in your heart for a home to call their own. Please be understanding that it may take time for us to respond, and due to large request volume, we will only reach out if we are potentially able to assist. You are NOT able to just drop off intake requests as we are foster home based - you must call or email to see if we have any foster homes available to accept your intake. If available, we will then set you up with an appointment.
